Therapeutic Modalities
Our therapists provide a wide range of services and use different therapy modalities that are tailored to your needs. When you are searching for the right therapist, some of these terms can be confusing or overwhelming, so it can be helpful to have a “cheat sheet” for you to be able to choose which resonate for your needs. Some of the therapy modalities that we use include:
EMDR
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is an evidence-based psychotherapy designed to help people heal from trauma and PTSD by reducing the emotional intensity of distressing memories. EMDR involves recalling traumatic events while focusing on external bilateral stimulation, typically guided using side-to-side eye movements, taps, or sounds.
When to try EMDR: heal from trauma, PTSD or C-PTSD
IFS
The Internal Family Systems (IFS) model is an approach to individual psychotherapy developed by Richard C. Schwartz. It conceptualizes the mind as a collection of relatively separate personalities, or "parts," each with its own unique viewpoint and qualities, that develop and interact over a person’s lifetime. The goal of the therapy is to help clients access their "Self"—described as a core state of compassion in order to heal and integrate the many parts within.
When to try IFS: understand how you can heal and feel more whole as a person especially if you are coping with attachment trauma or emotional instability.
Psychedelic Integration
Psychedelic integration is a conscious, intentional process of making sense of, processing, and embodying the insights, emotions, and experiences that emerge during a psychedelic journey. It acts as a bridge between the intense "non-ordinary" state of a trip and everyday life, translating revelations into long-lasting, tangible changes in behavior, thinking, and lifestyle.
When to try psychedelic integration: make the most of psychedelic experiences in a therapeutic setting.
ACT
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) is an action-oriented psychotherapy model that fosters psychological flexibility by teaching individuals to embrace difficult thoughts and emotions rather than avoiding them. It promotes mindfulness and value-driven behavior, helping people to stop fighting internal struggles and start committing to positive life changes.
When to try ACT: help manage chronic pain, depression, or anxiety
DBT
Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) is a structured, evidence-based psychotherapy model designed to help people manage intense emotions, reduce self-destructive behaviors, and improve relationships by balancing emotional acceptance with positive change. It is highly skills-based, focusing on mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotion regulation, and interpersonal effectiveness.
When to try DBT: better manage your emotions to improve your relationships and every day life skills
Narrative therapy
Narrative therapy is a collaborative, strengths-based approach to counseling that separates individuals from their problems, viewing people as the experts in their own lives. It focuses on "re-authoring" or rewriting life stories by externalizing problems and exploring alternative perspectives to foster positive change and personal empowerment.
When to try Narrative therapy: overcome creative blocks, navigate life transitions and resolve depression or anxiety

Good Faith Estimate
(No Surprises Act)
The Good Faith Estimate shows the costs of services that are reasonably expected for the expected services to address your mental health care needs. The estimate is based on the information known to us when we did the estimate.
The Good Faith Estimate does not include any unknown or unexpected costs that may arise during treatment. You could be charged more if complications or special circumstances occur. If this happens, federal law allows you to dispute (appeal) the bill.
You may contact the contact listed above if billed charges are higher than the Good Faith Estimate. You can request an update to the bill to match the Good Faith Estimate, ask to negotiate the bill, or ask if there is financial assistance available.
You may also start a dispute resolution process with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS). If you choose to use the dispute resolution process, you must start the dispute process within 120 calendar days (about 4 months) of the date on the original bill.
There is a $25 fee to use the dispute process. If the agency reviewing your dispute agrees with you, you will have to pay the price on this Good Faith Estimate. If the agency disagrees with you and agrees with the health care provider or facility, you will have to pay the higher amount.
To learn more and get a form to start the process, go to:
